Responsibilities The Electrical Engineer develops integrated electronics for new and existing products, meeting or exceeding company production and quality standards, and meeting customer design, function and cost requirements Develop new and update existing hardware/firmware for PCBAs that can incorporate motors, sensors and wireless Research and propose PCBA components during the design phase for availability, cost, and redundancy Optimize PCBA BOMs for compatibility and modularity (e.
g.
:
functionality, manufacturability, look and feel, agency compliance, temperature rating, etc.
) Able to design PCBAs in computerized system Review and advise on PCBA layout and component footprint Effectively take the lead role in electronic product development projects Create revision-controlled documentation, per project, including but not limited PCBA drawings, PCBA BOMs and Gerber files Develop/execute detailed test plans for electronic components and assemblies within scope of project Provide electrical technical support for new and existing products to management, production, sales, customer service, purchasing and accounting departments resolving questions and problems Administer and facilitate company's product development cycle, per project, with consideration of costs, time, functionality, and manufacturability Designs to meet engineering standards, applicable codes, customer specifications, and within cost constraints Ensure conformance to all required safety certifications (i.

UL, NSF, CE), and company standards for quality and manufacturability Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5
