THE OPPORTUNITY Responsible for operating a variety of machines and/or assembling product and packaging to customer specifications.
Openly accepts work assignments from Manager and Department Leads and understands the positive impact/outcome to the business.
Actively identifies continuous improvement initiatives and uses knowledge and learnings to provide multiple feasible solutions.
Maintains a strong desire/willingness to enhance professional growth and assists in the development and training of coworkers.
RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares work by using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), blueprint specifications and Product Structure List by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
Set-up and operate assigned machines to perform machine operations or assembly station to assemble product on a repetitive basis.
Visually inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Keeps equipment or tools operational by keeping it clean and reporting any malfunctions or needed repairs.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by using standard 5S practices.
Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Possess strong attention to detail and reasoning skillset.
Professional attitude when approaching work assignments.
Utilizes strong critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and provide solutions with a positive executional mindset.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
