2K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago This position is responsible for the business-to-business sale of contract maintenance programs for material handling, and providing customers support with their parts and service experiences.
Skills/
Responsibilities:
Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts in an assigned territory.
Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships via cold all, presentations, and follow up on leads for new business.
Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts.
Develop and conduct sales presentations.
Prepare quotations, cost reports, performance reports, and customer correspondence.
Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers in order to seek new business and enhance customer retention.
Coordinate activity with Equipment Sales Representative to ensure territory is covered effectively and efficiently.
Monitor customer satisfaction with service department support and by responding to customer concerns or requests.
Utilize resources available to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.
Promote service agreements, tires, safety, and other programs to the extent they are solutions to needs and requests.
Maintain effective communication through phone, e-mail, and face to face.
Education/
Experience:
Two to three years' experience in Sales required.
5
years' industry experience preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proven customer service ability.
Ability to travel daily within assigned territory as well as surrounding area(s).
Overnight stays may be required.
Valid Driver license Work Conditions/Physical Demands:
The work is split between sitting at a desk focused on a computer screen or traveling/driving in the territory making sales calls, etc.
The position requires travel and the ability to drive off company grounds to visit multiple potential locations, both internal and external to the company efforts.
There is potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, or solvents which require knowledge of proper safety procedures.
Employees must have normal manual dexterity and be able to effectively manipulate keyboard and phone.
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
