Performs dive maintenance or associated tending for large aquariums primarily for scientific duties including cleaning and feeding fish.
Ensures high quality service is delivered to our clients.

Principal Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
75%:
Performs specialized animal care duties involving entrance into exhibits using SCUBA.
15%:
Performs other feeding, filter maintenance and exhibit cleaning tasks as assigned.
10%:
Responsible for the hygiene of areas surrounding aquariums and filtration.
Requirements:
Valid Open Water dive certification is required.
Will consider candidates who are not SCUBA certified but who can become certified shortly after hire.

or B.
S.
in Biology or related field with course-work in zoology, aquatic biology and chemistry preferred.
Experience:
One year in a retail aquarium store, hatchery or public aquarium preferred.
Aptitude in science and art/design is preferred.
May be required to work unusual hours or on unscheduled days during emergency type circumstances.
Strong interpersonal skills needed.
Must have good hearing, visual acuity, and be able to lift 50 lbs.
